Construction Health and Safety Services

claire deacon and associates staff are registered with, or in the process of registration with the South African Council for Construction and Project Management Professions (SACPCMP). The SACPCMP is one of the 7 built environment councils appointed by the Minister of Public Works, providing oversight in the construction sector.

Our services are required to be in line with the published guidelines as gazetted by the SACPCMP, and also the Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 85 of 1993, and specifically, but not limited to the Construction Regulations (2014).

We apply for Construction Work Permits and prepare all the work preceding the submission required by the CRs, specifically the duties of the Client.

We work from Stages 1 to 6 of the construction life cycle, with the Client and Designers (Architects, Engineers and Quantity Surveyors, to name a few).  Ultimately our task is to reduce project risk and ensure a safe and healthy environment for all who work on site.
